Celloglazing
Celloglaze is another name for laminating, but always applied to the thinnest laminates. The sheet is celloglazed on one or both sides, and then trimmed or forme-cut to size or shape afterwards so it always looks very neat. The popular cellglazes are matte, gloss or soft-touch / “velvet”.
The celloglaze gives the printed item a thicker feel, and makes them more robust and longer lasting because of the protection provided. The soft-touch celloglaze in particular makes for a very tactile product that people will stop and notice when you hand it to them.
