Case binding, hardcover binding, or thesis binding are common names for this type of binding where a hardcover is produced for your book
There are a few different ways to produce this kind of book depending on how you will use it.
For the longest life, the pages are drilled and sewn together by hand before being glued into a handmade cover. This is often used for thesis binding or for a special presentation or when you want the books to last a lifetime or two. We’ll often cover them in a Buckram fabric in a wide range of colour choices and then use silver or gold foil for the book title and author.
